These batteries are specifically branded and manufactured for the NHS. People with hearing problems can obtain these for personal use at no cost.
Why do Ebay allow sellers to sell these batteries that should not be available for resale.
How can Ebay be advised to stop this 'illegal' trade?

Two ways.
You can report the listing using the report button on each listing - it's about halfway down on the right hand side.
Or you could Google Rayovac, NHS and report them there.
Ebay would ignore any report you made by contacting them, so that would be a waste of time. They can't police every single item listed on ebay,

If you search hearing aid batteries, there are hundreds of listings, mostly business sellers.
So can't see ebay taking action.
Not all people have NHS hearing aids.

@tobiasd4 I have these given me by my local audio dept and they have clear writing on the packet saying " Free issue" and "Not for resale" so I believe the seller definitely should not be selling them.
