Purchasing locally

I'm very unhappy that I purposely choose not to buy from China/ Hong Kong and those sort of places, only to find that the sellers are intentionally stating they are based in France! So I've just bought an item of clothing thinking if i need to return it, it's not going to cost an arm and a leg..... only to find the return address is Hong Kong and it'll cost just as much as the item to send back as its too small. I have been ripped off! The cost of the item is £16.00 ...the cost of the return is £14.00.

Surely this is nonsense and going under the radar.

Purchasing locally

If you open a not as described case, then you return to address provided by ebay. If seller cors not supply a return label then after 3 days escalate to ebay who may just refund.

Returning tracked to France would be expensive as although in theory seller pays, it is difficult to enforce this.
