Purchase not in Purchase History

I purchased an item and have an order number, but the item does not appear in my purchase history. The item is not as described, and I want to return it for a refund, but the seller is ignoring me. How can I get eBay to help, please?  When I input the order number eBay finds the item, but does not link it to my account and tells me to create a new account?

Did you buy as a guest rather than by logging into this account?

The seller won't be able to link the purchase to the account you are using today if you bought as a guest.

You need to find the email you got from Ebay when you paid.
