Problem relisting

Hope someone can help.

Having successfully relisted unsold items previously I am now trying to relist similar unsold items.

Obviously if they are on my unsold list they have previously been listed successfully.

Now, when I try to relist I am receiving a message to the effect that "it appears that you're listing a forward-deployed item in a country different from your registered address" and that "These items cannot be listed according to Overseas Warehouse Block Policy" and that I have to apply to ship from an overseas warehouse.

I'm not trying to do this and nothing has changed from my end but eBay seems to think that my status has changed?

Weird and very frustrating and the usual automated response doesn't help.

Has anyone had this problem.

Also, has anyone also had a problem with postage costs ? Whenever I review costs because of an increase by the Postal Department eBay arbitrarily ignores the amount that I enter and puts in a postage cost figure that is not the one that I entered and invariably higher thus deterring possible buyers with an inflated cost.

The first problem is the more important at present as, at present, I cannot post any listings over the Easter period.

Best wishes,

David.

The only thing I can think of which could cause these issues is that you are in Jersey and, although you are using ebay.co.uk, the system thinks you are in a totally different country.

I know Jersey is not part of the UK.

You may need to contact Customer Services for help.

Problem relisting

Thanks for your prompt reply.
Note what you say but why didn't the query arise during my listing (and indeed selling) of items since January !!
eBay seem to make it as difficult as possible for the small private seller.
Thanks again for your reply and advice.
