Pre-paid postage label

Hello all. I accidentally selected pre-paid postage label but I didn’t want it as I was going to the post office to send it & select a better method of tracking but now the item I’ve sold has been given a tracking number but I didn’t want to use the prepaid label. Is there a way to cancel the prepaid label? I hope this makes sense. Thank you

Your watch was listed with ebay Simple Delivery which would have covered the value up to £750 and would have used a tracked service.

As you have used your own postage, you can't claim the payment back - the buyer paid Ebay for Simple Delivery so the buyer will be refunded.

You can't change the tracking but it is a good idea to contact the buyer to give them the correct tracking number.

Pre-paid postage label

I don't know why you didn't want to use the eBay prepaid label it would have been Royal Mail Tracked 48 with eBay offering compensation up to £750 against loss or damage in transit.

Anyway now you have used your own label the buyer will be refunded for the unused label in around 30 days.
