I had the  evri option for posting unchecked as we don’t have an evri drop off on the Isle of Wight, however my seller has brought an item with postage for evri, what to do please?

Send them a polite message explaining the issue and would they kindly accept a cancellation request this will fully refund them and you can relist the item again on eBay for them to buy this time with a Royal Mail postage.

Hopefully,  they'll agree, you then cancel citing Buyer requests to cancel, so it doesn't impact your seller performance.

Relist, untick the Evri postage,  you will find the RM postage suddenly increases!   Simple Delivery deems the price to be more as it gives a buyer less choice of service ! 🤔

Just to add @buffyphipps,    in your messages to your buyer make it very clear why you are delisting the item,  that it will be relisted on eBay for the buyer to buy again.  Make it clear this is Not an off eBay sale,  eBay read all messages going through their system.
