Posting Royal Mail instead of evri so not marked as delivered

I sold an item and the buyer chose evri delivery.

my local post office doesn't ship with evri and so I paid for Royal Mail postage.

the buyer has revised the item.

now the item cannot be marked as delivered because it is going off the evri tracking number.

will I still receive my funds by the date is says.

First cancel the original label.   In My eBay > Selling, or on the Seller Hub > Orders Overview, select Postage Labels on the left-hand side.   Go to Actions next to the label and select Void Label.

As you didn't use an ebay-generated postage label you need to add the tracking number and mark as dispatched manually.    You can do that via the dropdown menu for the item on your sold page.

No Post Office ships with Evri.

Evri is a courier company and you have to buy the label via eBay or via Evri's website and arrange for them to collect from you or take it to them. If you're going to use Royal Mail instead then that's absolutely fine, but just make sure that the postage section in your listings has Royal Mail selected as the postage method.
