Postage

Hi I couldn’t  use the prepaid label for a sold item so I just posted and paid for postage. EBay say as label wasn’t used they will refund the buyer. I am out of pocket so have emailed buyer to advise them they’ll be refunded and have asked them to pay for the postage -they are just ignoring me - the item has been delivered. Anyone have any advise or dealt with similar

You  can't get it back.  If this happens again cancel transaction and relist with correct postage for the buyer to buy again.

Thanks - so even though the buyer has gotten a refund for the postage I am not entitled to charge them for postage paid?

You can't ask them but there's no way on ebay of enforcing it.
