Postage

I have two orders that I am posting myself and not using the label from eBay as I have my own own tracking number, item has been dispatched to go to buyer however, I am not able to add my tracking number. Please kindly assist.

Preferably use a laptop / PC and try Chrome that seems to work well with eBay,  and manually update your tracking this way:

 

  • Go to "Orders Paid & Dispatched"
  • Click on "View order details"
  • Within the "Postage" section there's a small dropdown arrow next to "Track Package" - click on that.
  • Click on the "Add tracking" option
  • A box will come up with the current tracking number . Delete that and replace it with your tracking.

Hi,

Thank you for your assistance. The issue now is It's a new account and
it's private not business account so it's hard. Don't know how else to go
about it.

You  may have to mark dispatched first.   To do that open the unused postage labels.    The cost of them will be refunded to the buyer in 30 days.

The above should apply to a Private account.

 

Why are you not using Simple Delivery labels ? Simple Delivery is mandatory for Private sellers.

 

Are your items exempt from SD?  That is,  are too lightweight or oversize ?

You are selling multiples of new items and need to use a business account, private accounts are for sellers  getting rid of their own items  such as clearing out a loft, wardrobe etc.

Once you change to a business account simple delivery will no longer apply
