Postage problem

I have sold an item,rather than sending it via the prepaid label, I have sent it by another courier, the buyer has received the item but there's no way to notify Ebay it has been delivered so I won't get paid until the original courier confirms they have delivered it. I was going to send an empty envelope with the prepaid label on it so they will confirm it's been delivered but when I go to scan the QR code it says it's been dispatched.

If it's marked as dispatched it sounds like you've already generated the original prepaid label so you should be able to change the tracking.

Go to the More Actions dropdown menu or View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow and change the tracking.    That needs to be done on a desktop browser.

This has not worked,it has just added the new tracking number,which has already been delivered

If it's added the new tracking number that is all you can do.    Another thing is If ebay are classing you as a new seller the payment may be held for 30 days.    You could ask ebay to check.   You can request a callback on here:
