It's could either be because the ebay suggested postage was never going to be sufficient for your item, wherever it was going, or because your actual buyer lives in a place where the courier adds a surcharge to the basic price.
Never rely on Ebay's suggestions for postage, always do your research before listing.

You do need to look at the other items you have for sale and check if the postage is sufficient.
You have got £2.70 on the tie set which is the price for a large letter up to 2.5cm thick. The tie-set is boxed so not large letter size - it would need to be sent as a small parcel if you use RM Tracked 48.

Why is this happening?
Because you didn't check the postal cost before putting the price in the listing.
If you relied on eBay's postage calcuator, you won't make this mistake again!
In some categories eBay limits the amount that sellers can charge for postage, even though it not longer covers the actual cost. If this still applies (we don't seem to have had any questions about it for some time) all you can do is add the extra to the starting price of the listing.)
