Postage fees much higher than quoted when selling to auction winner in Australia from UK

The fees ebay are now presenting are way-off the quote it gave me before I listed. By over £250!! This cripples the sale from my end. I can't find any way to change the postage option or cost, or find out how I can deal with this with ebay.

What do I do...? Anyone with experience of this, your input and advice appreciated: I really can't find how to address this with ebay and my deadline to post is up in three days time.

Are you saying that the actual postage to Australia is much higher than you charged on the listing?  If so that's your error and you can't change it.

If you won't pay it you will have to cancel.  That will get you a defect and possible negative feedback. 

Have you looked at postage costs direct with couriers, not through eBay?

Perhaps don't list internationally in future.
