Postage charge not the same on listing

I listed some items for sale and I set my postage charge for each item at £4.00. - After uploading my items for sale I checked them over on my selling list but was surprised to see that the postage rate had been increased to £4.80 each. Why was my postage charge increased? It doesn't help me to sell!

You would have to ask Ebay Customer services.

Your account says you are based in Thailand so log out of Ebay.co.uk and then use the 'Help & contact' route to get in touch with Ebay.

Even with an item shown as located within the UK, if either the buyer or seller uses an eBay  account that is or has been Registered outside the UK  site at any time, it will automatically trigger an additional UK 20% IMPORT VAT  fee payable to HMRC/UK Government >
