I think I've been scammed? I ordered something from a seller and they have presumably 'posted it' however the tracking number isnt even registered on the amazon logistics tracking website. I think it's a fake tracking number. So now i have no way of knowing if they really have posted it and if it ill even arrive. Ive contacted the seller that it isnt working, havent replied yet. I have no idea what to do now.

I assume you bought from Ebay?
If the tracking number doesn't seem to be genuine, you can always check with the seller which carrier's website you should be checking.
If the item does not arrive, you can open a case for 'item not received' one day after the latest estimated delivery date.
You can find the date by which you should reasonably expect your item by looking at the email you got from Ebay when you paid.

If tracking does not work, then it cannot prove delivery so you can simply get a refund by opening a NOT RECEIVED CASE.
How can you be scammed? when you can get a full refund.
