Why can’t i do this most basic of search functions

Post and/or within x miles. 
 
Its all i need, if they post it , cool, if not and its within my chosen x miles i can pick it up. 101.

It is the seller who decides whether they post or offer collection, they can offer a choice but you cannot tell seller what you want.

You can use advanced search, there are so many possibilities there, it is up to you to use services available.

I’m not trying to tell a seller what to do.

i simply want to be able to search for items for sale that are ‘Postage and/or within x miles’

 And this cannot be done. 

if you restrict to postage, it only gives you the option of ‘ free postage’, and then it still shows you collection only.

it’s unbelievably poorly written, such a basic search need not catered for.

Any one wanting something either wants it posted AND OR within x miles, where x is how many miles they are prepared to travel. 

this search is NOT possible in ebay. So basic a search.

I’ve confirmed with a number of sellers, they are NOT picking the ‘postage or collection’ option, yet their listing come back when you filter for ‘postage’ . Ebay search is broken.
