Positive Feedback Only

I'm assuming this is a glitch, because to allow a seller to remove the ability for a buyer to leave neutral or negative feedback completely defeats the object. However, I recently purchased an umbrella that was listed as "strong windproof" which is why I chose it. The item that arrived was flimsy and cheap like the sort of umbrella you'd get at Poundland. It was a clear case of false advertising so I logged into my ebay account to leave neutral feedback to warn other potential buyers of the awful 'quality'. As I scrolled down the feedback page to the section where you have the option to click on Positive, Neutral or Negative, I was ONLY presented with the option to leave positive feedback. How is that even possible? The whole point of leaving feedback is to give other buyers a chance to weigh up whether to purchase an item or not. I personally, always read the feedback section of an item I'm considering. Only being allowed to leave positive feedback for items that are being falsely advertised and are of poor quality removes the buyers right to express an honest opinion and limits the ability of other buyers to make an informed decision. This really needs to be addressed.

Re: Positive Feedback Only

Did you buy the item from a Top Rated Seller?

In which case , eBay allow you 7 days to message the seller about the item received to give them a chance to remedy the problem.

If after 7 days a mutual conclusion is not reached,  you can then leave a neutral / negative feedback.
