I purchased 2 items. They total value was £180. They warned me about the customs duties to pay and give me the option to change the order as the tax doesn't apply for orders below £135.
I asked them to ship the items separately and they suggested to cancel the order and place 2 separate orders. However, when I went back to cancel the order, I found out that the items were already shipped and I couldn't refuse the deliver because the box has been delivered to my neighbour.
I've asked the seller several times why they sent the item and could not wait for my response. All they keep telling me is that the tax is my responsibility and they have shipping obligations they need to comply, which I'm not sure what that is.
I was only trying to avoid the tax by doing what they suggested to do. Instead I have the items at home and now I'm waiting to receive the duty tax from the currier.
All of this could have been avoided, if only they could have waited for my replay.
