Please can somebody help me??

I have had an account with Ebay for over 20 years & have 100% positive feedback. I don't sell lots of things these days, but from time to time I do have things I want to get rid of.

My ebay account currently won't allow me to sell more than 1 item per month or anything over £10 per month. I have had no correspondence from ebay about these limits and I have absolutely no idea why these "seller limits" have been applied to my account.

I have tried using the help centre, but that just takes you round & round the same loop, returning back to the screen you started from, having failed to be of any use at all.

Is there anybody here who might be able to help?

Many thanks

🙂

You don't have any recent feedback for selling so ebay will class you as a new seller and they can have limits.  There's a link to request an increase on here:

Please can somebody help me??

Hi there Peaseblossom, many thanks for trying to assist.
However, the link you have sent, is one of the links I have previously tried, whereby I am then told that I do not qualify to have my limit raised.
The real crux of the matter is that my limit is set to 1 item per month for as maximum of £10.... I have nothing I want to sell that fits into this ridiculously low level.
I seem to be going round & round in circles.... I'm an occasional seller.  The last time I tried to use my account was last spring when i wanted to sell my old camera & came up against the same problem... I went, someone suggested that i might need to attach a current bank card to my account, which I successfully achieved, however, the limit didn't change. I ended up selling the camera on FB Market Place. Not the result I was looking for, but at least it worked.
I now have a few items I want to get rid of but I am faced with the same problem. 1 item or £10. it just doesn't make sense 😞
It seems to me that all they have is tech based help guides that take you on a wild goose chase, throwing countless articles (5 minute reads, by the bucket load & then return you back to where you started still none the wiser.
Is there any email address where I can actually contact someone from Ebay??

Many thanks again for trying to help out.

Account appears unused for selling for a long period and there have been some changes --- worthwhile to completely check and update your account details including placing current UK  Banking account details on file for Managed Payments >

Many thanks for your reply Fargvs, you are right, I'm only an occasional seller, but it has been this way for over a year now & I have not been able to remedy the situation.
I have got a current bank card attached & this has been verified. I moved house over 5 years ago, but have updated these details.  My NI number is on the system and everything else that I have been asked for has been done.
It's just I'm limited to only 1 item per month & no more than £10. It seems like a crazy level to have reduced me to. I'f I'm clearing out stuff from the house that I want to sell, then 1 item at £10 per month doesnt make sense. I would probably give such an item to a charity shop.
Is there anyone I can actually contact at Ebay who can help resolve this.
it's really as if they dont want to have to deal with people, yet the systems they have in place simply don't help me.
Thanks again for trying to help.

Hi there Peaseblossom,I just want to say a huge "Thank You" for helping me resolve this situation. I think they did a manual over ride of the system.
that phone contact link was perfect. 1 phone call, 15 mins talking to a very helpful chap at Ebay and everything is sorted & I am able to sell items again, as my limits have been increased
So thank you once again.
CheersTWT
