You do not have to oblige the seller by sending any photos via eBay messaging, this also can be a delaying tactic to stop you to opening a case for item not as described on time, to receive a full refund.
When you open a case for item not as described, selecting Item Does Not Match Description or Photos there you will have to add at least one photo for the case to go through.
