Penalty fees for cancelled order that wasn't my fault!

How do you get in touch with eBay, rather than the chatbot? I need some serious support here.

A disabled man has bought my kitchen, despite it saying clearly that the buyer was responsible for dismantling it. I had offered to ask someone to dismantle it for his courier but told him that that person was unavailable for at least three weeks. I said this was clearly not going to work but he went ahead and bought it anyway. I need it out of the way quickly and had explained, I thought clearly, that my carpenter was not going to be able to help.  I tried to cancel the order but there is a 15.6% fee for me to pay - which seems outrageous when I have done nothing wrong.

The chatbot was less than useless and shut down the chat after one exchange of dialogue.

What is the fee for?  There shouldn't be any unless you used a reserve or similar extra, and they are payable even if the item doesn't sell.   You can check here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/sh/fin/transactions

You can contact ebay in the morning by requesting a callback on here:

Also meant to add you can put the buyer's ID on your blocked bidder list:
