Partial refund i dont agree with

Buyer has contacted to indicate that the item she ordered is not as described. This was a Agate carving and states that one of the fee of the Turtle is rough and believes this was chipped. I do not feel that this was damage, but caused through thr process of carving the Agate. She is requesting a partial refund.

a. Do I need to give a partial refund on this? If so how much.

b. If i disagree can ebay step in? Or does she need to open a case herself.

you don't have to give a part refund.

If they open a not as described case accept the return, issue a prepaid label and refund when you get the item back.

Any partial refund amount would need to be one agreed between you and your buyer.

If you disagree the buyer may return it for a full refund, and you'll need to pay for a returns label.
