Bought Kiddies Smart Phone from seller
Brilliant - and only £40.
This arrived 10 June and the family were away from 29 June until 27 July, the phone was not taken with them, and after the return the screen was black, it can be charged but nothing visible and it won't make or receive any calls.
The "warranty" appears to have ceased after about 2 weeks, and we cannot get ebay to recover the cost.
In any walk of life, buying a phone would mean getting a good warranty, of a year or more.

Ebay MBG is only for 30 days, this is why you should check items on arrival.
Try your payment provider, they may help.

OK.
But you are still too late for ebay MBG.

There are no guarantees on ebay beyond the 30 day MBG. Anything you do now will be between you and the seller.
If you are looking for a guarantee you should buy from a bricks and mortar store, or online retailer

Not on eBay. Buying from unknown sellers on eBay is not like buying from the shops. You didn't read the user agreement.
eBay even warns buyers that "they do not guarantee the existence, quality, safety or legality of items advertised, or the truth or accuracy of descriptions". Would you buy from a shop that stated this? eBay is a jungle.
Warranties claimed by sellers often prove worthless. eBay offers its own, 30 day money back guarantee on most items bought here. But from day 31 they have no further interest.
How did you pay? Your payment provider e.g. credit or debit card issuer may be able to help. Good luck, I hope you get your money back.
