Partial Refund

I ordered 3 identical items at the beginning of January this year and none of them have arrived. After contacting the seller several times and not getting a response I requested a refund for non receipt but made an error in that, because they were all in one package, I just requested a refund for one when, in fact, I should have requested 3.  I received a refund for one item but not the other two and the seller is not answering my requests as to when he will either refund or deliver the remaining two. The ebay 'help' is no help at all as it keeps telling me that the case is closed.  The purchase is still listed as being 'partially refunded' but no tracking details for the remaining 2. Please advise

Re: Partial Refund

eBay have a 30 day MBG  Money Back Guarantee policy so you are out of time to claim any refund now,  through eBay.

You can though try your payment provider now,  for help with your refund.

Re: Partial Refund

Thanks for your response. I thought that might be the case - it's just annoying that the seller knew that there were issues with deliveries from Canada in December (not sure why it came from Canada when they are based in Scotland) prior to accepting the order and still gave a delivery timescale of 2 weeks. I was patient and waited for delivery and have now lost the money which is only £20 but it's the principle of feeling you've been ripped off

Re: Partial Refund

Some sellers use all kinds of excuses and promises knowing if a buyer waits long enough they will be timed out of claiming any refund from eBay,  once the timeline of 30 days lapse.

For any future case which needs opening,  it gives a seller 3 days to solve if they don't either with a refund or sending a label for the item to be sent back,  listen no more,  wait no more,  just escalate the case,  eBay step in and force the refund.
