Hello. I am looking for some advice. I sold a sterling silver crucifix necklace and I sent it through Evri. The tracking had stopped and it hadn’t changed for a few days so the buyer was asking me to ask ever for an update, which I did. In the meantime if waiting for a response, the buyer opened a request for a refund. I didn’t want any negative feedback so I refunded as at this point I had a feeling Evri had in fact lost the parcel. Unfortunately this morning I had noticed that the parcel has miraculously been found and it is now on its way to the buyer. I am very frustrated as now the buyer will be getting the necklace for free and I’m out of pocket. Is there anything I can do. I’ve tried contacting Evri but they take too long to respond.

All you can do is hope the buyer is honest and ask them to pay again once they have received the item. There is no way of enforcing that on ebay.

How would I be able to ask them to pay again please? I’ve never had this issue before.

You would have to arrange this with your buyer sending your Paypal or bank details

Thank you for the advice my buyer was very honest and has now bought back the item and has sent me the money straightaway.
