Paid upon delivery

I see a lot of questions and annoyance at the new rules being proposed and I'm in agreement with what is being said.

My question regarding the new rules of "Seller paid after delivery: When buying from private sellers, funds will only be sent once their item has been delivered. " is:

What about items that are collected in person? Are we going to be reliant on the other party updating something on their side to say they received the item before we can get paid?

What happens if they don't update in a timely manner or even update at all?

Collection in person items are now paid for online,as cash is no longer accepted.
