Paid my money and the item just ended

I thought I had bought a Sansung Subwoofer for £30.26 but the item just ended and took my money, but the selling tracking has gone. How do i get my money back as I can't contact the seller as the item history has gone. I trust I can't quote his account name here.

Were you logged into your account at the time of winning/paying for the item? If you weren't logged in you may have bought as a guest.

Find the email they will have sent you and see if you have paid for it from there.

If the item has gone from your purchase history and the seller's account is not coming up in search results that means they've been suspended by ebay.   You won't be able to open a "not received" case on ebay but contact your payment provider asap and ask about a refund.

Search their completed listings (or message their eBay ID to somebody here who can check it for you).

@autops1  I got your message and I have replied that the seller's account looks fine to me so it is still a mystery what has happened to your money.

First off contact the seller using the "Contact the seller" link on their feedback page.  If you get nowhere with them I think the next step should be to contact your bank. If you paid with Paypal go to them first.  

I forwarded  the seller onto  Vyolla so hopefully she will be back with more advice.

As they are a private seller and I have no history to support me I have found it impossible to send them any communication. I think they were removing the item at the same time I bought it. They won't know anything until they find out there us a spare £30 in their account.

I found the total lack of customer support a major issue. Still if nothing ever goes wrong you don't need it. Thanks very much for your help in dealing with this. I just need to spend a couple of hours on tge phone to my bank.

If it looks like this then you didn't (or you bought it as a guest or on another eBay account, if you have one):

How do you know that a payment has been taken?

If you bought it then it should look like this:

Not old and daft at all, I've just spent ages trying to work out what an automatic payment was for from my PayPal account for an amount I didn't recognise, we've all been there.

Glad that it looks correct and that you can now see your order.
