I am a buyer and I was unable to buy items twice now as I get nonsensical automated message that the Seller does not post to a PO Box. My address is Post Office Cottage and it seems I can no longer purchase items on ebay as it automatically generates this nonsense about PO Box address. Has anyone else come across this?

This must be down to those particular sellers I'm afraid.
I see you have several other successful purchases from other sellers so maybe message them and explain that of course it isn't a PO box, or find another seller.

Sellers can exclude delivery to PO boxes, so it seems that when they do eBay's robot falsely recognises your address as a PO box.
You could try asking eBay to change its algorithm to add the word "box" as a condition, but I doubt they will do this just for your benefit. Can you not remove the house name and simply give a street number?
Otherwise all you can do is ask sellers to put you on their exceptions list - assuming that they haven't also blocked messages from blocked addresses.

Many thanks Contacting the Seller direct was the only solution
