Not received Refund - now they say CASE CLOSED - *bleep*?

I have not received a REFUND from a seller - and the case is saying it is closed - i have been all round the houses and not got anywhere except much angrier now than when i started.

It says i can appeal - but then i get a message that says - Case closed AND CANT BE APPEALED.

Does anyone know what to do in this situation - I can clearly see in my PAYMENTS section that NO REFUND has been received  - I've checked all my bank accounts and Paypal - WHY cant i get through to a person to sort this out?????

Any suggestions gratefully received, Teri

Hi Teri,

Can you explain exactly what this refund was for an item not received / an item not as described?  Did you escalate the case in time ?

There are instances when a case can close with no refund but we need to know all the facts here to know, understand  and explain what happened here.

Hi - I started a Return as the item was too small and posted the item. Then waited. Heard nothing.

I have contacted the Seller and not had anything helpful - she says she paid it but I have received nothing.

I have asked for a screen grab of her Payments page but she didn't send it.

I tried to Ask ebay to step in - nothing.

I tried asking for an appeal - all I got is Case Closed - and cannot be appealed.

What kind of Customer Support is this???

Now I am nearly £50 out of pocket.

Did the seller have No Returns on their listing?  Then, if the  size of the item was correctly described , but it was too small, and ' did not fit' ,  the seller would not have to accept the return.

As you have sent the item, and case closed because of the reason described above, another cannot be opened with eBay,  and you should try your payment provider now for help with a refund.  That is just too much money to lose!
