No refund case false info

Hi, Some advice please. A seller brought a case with ebay for non refund to return deadline expired, so no refund and items are with seller.

3. How is this correct anyway, seller has money for items the he has, buyer out of pocket!?

(2. The items were far too big, actually larger than size stated, but I wasn't going to quibble about it. Just wanted a refund)

1. Main issue is false information given to ebay. Items were returned and signed for in timely fashion. Items returned 3rd April signed for on 4th April and dealine was 29th April, how doe this result in money to be refunded being refused! Probably won't be able to leave feedback.

So a buyer is out of pocket for return postage, and 2 items, surely this is a form theft?

Any advice on how to proceed would be appreciated.

TIA

No refund case false info

Sellers have 48 hours to refund once they get the items back.

If they don't refund, then you, the buyer, have to go back to the case and ask Ebay to step in.

The refund is not automatic and is not enforced by Ebay unless you go back to the case and ask Ebay to step in.

If you don't do anything, after 21 days, the case closes and you lose your right to a refund.

Ebay state: 'Don't leave it too long to ask us to step in and help. We'll automatically close a request if there's been no activity.'
