No 6 digit code

I have paid for a vehicle and the seller has made me aware that a 6 digit code will have to be provided at the time of collection. This doesn't seem to be anywhere on the order details and I am just querying whether there is anything else I need to do in order to obtain this code. Also, there was no confirmation email sent from Ebay.

When buying a vehicle, unless it's a small bike or similar, you should pay cash on collection and only after you've inspected the item.  How did you pay?
