I have yet to meet online or in person anyone buyer or seller who likes the new Ebay charging system. For small inexpensive items, especially, it is becoming uneconomic for both sides. We used to be a trusting community. Ebay should allow buyers to opt out of protection where the value is below, say, £25. They are, frankly, trying to exploit their dominant position in the market place for their own profit, not for the good of their customers. Ebay is so successful because they invented a great mouse trap, but they will build their competition this way - remember IBM, Kodak and umpteen other companies which didn't listen and lost large segments or all of their business. You won't get to Mars this way Mr Bezos!
