New search criteria before browsing a category

It seems ebay have changed something when selecting a category to browse in my interest which is model railways I could simply select auction or buy it now. This morning I can no longer do that I have to select extra filters or type something in the search box before that option appears. Am I alone in thinking this is a step backwards and is not helpful. Having said that it's probably good for me as I won't be spending as much. It would be nice to hear other views on this.

You are not alone,  there are several reports of this coming through,  but unfortunately no one is saying which device or browser they are using .

It may just be a temporary app issue,  so if using that,  or a mobile browser, switch if you can for the time being,  to a PC / laptop , and use Chrome or Firefox they work best,  try from there.

If that doesn't work, then it's the same ol' story.....    ' please try again later'.
