Just when you think that ebay are getting it right with doing away with seller fees (facing competition from facebook etc.) they've now come up with this crazy idea of putting the fees on the buyer. Most of the items I sell are between £2 - £12, I doubt I'll be selling much come February. On top of these buyer fees it seems that I am now being forced to to increase postage charges and, to be sure of getting my money sometime or other, and have to send ALL packages "signed for" which will mean an increase of £1 per package via Royal Mail. So for an item selling at £2 00p plus 2nd class large letter postage £1 55p = £3 55p this will now change to £5 38p !!! Who on earth think these things up, it won't work for me and many others also will feel the same. Although having been on ebay from its' early days I will be moving on come February. It's like going to Tesco's (or anywhere else) and having to pay at least £1 just to walk through the door. HOW RIDICULOUS is all this.
