It's not ideal to receive any negative feedbacks as this can affect sales,  buyers look to a seller's feedback especially if buying from an international seller,  so more trust is involved with buying a good item,  and not have to face returning an item overseas with all the issues that could bring.

Some negatives may bring defects to your account, and these do matter , as it can bring you below eBay's Standard for selling and restrict your selling.

What are you thinking of selling?  Why are you worrying about negatives , you have no items for sale.

You have no feedback at all, so a negative would give you a minus score which would not help.

As far as feedback itself goes, it is not taken into ebay’s calculations as to the standing of the seller BUT the star ratings are. Ebay expects no less that 4.7 on any of the 4 ratings, so going below 4.7 seller is below standard, and can have restrictions on selling.

Further to above, you are aware that only sellers can get negatives/neutral feedback, buyers can only get positive feedback.
