I won an auction and paid for the item immediately, the seller then demanded £300 more or they would refund. Obviously I took it to eBay and heard nothing back, i have now been refunded by the seller. I decided to leave them negative feedback stating the facts above. How have they had the negative feedback removed by eBay?
I’ve spoke to a eBay rep and they have read through the whole case and messages, stating that I’ve not breached any policy violations, such as bad language and only stated the facts.
What is the point of feedback when clearly some sellers can get it removed when it’s clearly the truth and yet the buyer hasn’t been contacted at all.

Once you mentioned taking it to eBay the feedback was removable.
All you needed to say was - seller refused to honour the transaction.

What reason did seller for cancelling the sale, as it was not done with your consent.
If he used ”eBuyer’s Request” you can report him, as you did not request it, if he used out of stock he gets a defect.

If you have the need to leave negative feedback it is best to keep it brief, “Unsatisfactory transaction” and mark down the stars says it all and will not be removed.
It was a big mistake when ebay increased the length of feedback that can be left, the more said the more chance of providing seller with reason to get it removed.

They didn’t give a reason or I haven’t seen one.
