Well, i guess i'm only repeating the messages about the new payment "scheme" that ebay has forced on us. But really, are ebay trying to lose it's private sellers in favour of business sellers? 14 days to wait for your money, on top of their fees?!! Sellers have always been treated un fairly and now this! Anyone now of alternative auction sites?

It is not necessarily 14 days, it is until proof of tracked delivery or 14 days, whichever comes first, or in the case of £10 and under two days after feedback is left.

Your sold items show that many of your items sell for under £10 so this amendment from eBay, to this new fee will be of benefit to you:
We’ve also heard your feedback and understand that shipping costs are particularly top of mind for low price items. When you’re selling a single item for £10 or less, and it’s sent untracked, funds will now be available 24 hours after you receive positive buyer feedback. This will be live by the end of February.
Yep, I know, most buyers do not leave feedback, and I would never usually recommend this, but sending the buyer a polite message, asking if they would kindly leave some feedback, explaining with eBay's new rules, payouts from sales are not released until a buyer leaves feedback. I would suggest asking only the once, more will begin to sound like harassment.
Think most buyers then would leave some ?

You post invites opinions. Mine is that Ebay are not trying to force out private sellers.
I sold at the weekend, all buyers had paid by Monday morning. I posted Monday afternoon and 2 out of 3 payments are now available for me to withdraw.
My small items are sent as Large Letters with just a stamp on so no tracking.
It actually won't bother me waiting for my money and, after a few weeks, if I have regular sales, I will still be withdrawing an amount weekly.

Are the items showing as delivered?
Have you checked in 'payments'.
Your money will be available for withdrawal 48 hours after tracking shows delivery.

Did I say it was better?? Umm nope I did not.
I am a member like yourself just relaying eBay news and updates to this new system as they do seem to be changing in a regular pattern so far.
Like @jckl1957 I'm not too bothered if tracking hasn't shown delivery and there's a need to wait 14 days, if there are regular sales, this will be a weekly withdrawal as before when eBay paid you .
My killer will be a mandatory Special Delivery. I use my little local Post Office and have always bought over the counter postage there. This will be taken away with compulsory purchase of postage labels from eBay, and so my little hard working family run PO will earn pennies from a label purchased elsewhere.

Most people won't say it is better - obviously, as a seller, the quicker you get your money the better.
But, as you have realised, it is take it or leave it.
Personally, I don't mind it.
Three sales last weekend, all money in my bank account 5 minutes ago. For me, that is not an excessive wait.
I find Ebay convenient to sell on and will sell on the site until it doesn't suit me any more.
