Does ebay allow to have more than one active accounts ? I have one account that i use normally for buying and sometimes also list items on it for selling. Now i want to have a separate account solely for the purpose of selling. Is it allowed to run to accounts at the same time ?
I read the multiple accounts policy but its confusing. It says, "Registering new accounts or using other existing accounts to avoid buying and selling restrictions or limits or other policy consequences."
Can someone please help me understand what this means please ?

Yep, you can have more than one account, you just need another email address and a new ID.
That ' warning' message you are reading means if your account is restricted , has any ban from selling then you cannot open another account to circumvent that restriction.
You can multiple accounts of good standing, just as above, different emails, different username ID's.

This means that if an account has any sanctions on it for policy breaches then eBay do not allow another account to be opened to try and circumvent them.
You can certainly have more than one account though. Create a new private account to list your personal items on. Just sign up again with the same details but a different email address (each eBay account requires its own unique email address).
Edit: Apologies, I can see that this has already been answered, for some reason it came up as a new question this morning!
