I am trying to return an item that arrived late and is now no longer required. The package is unopened and the return address on the return I have initiated is a load of mixed up letters. I have message the seller and they just keep offering me % refund and to keep the item which I have declined each time from 5% now up to 40% and even said they can’t guarantee the full refund if the item is damaged in the return process. The step in for buyer option doesn’t come up on the purchases section. It’s only £15 but the fact they are being so avoiding is now infuriating me even more. Any advice?

Late delivery gives grounds for opening a NOT AS DESCRIBED CASE, so open case and if no response from seller escalate to ebay after 3 days.
Make sure when opening case that you enter reason for wanting to return, as late delivery.
You return using label supplied through the case, not any garbled address supplied by seller.

A Guest purchase perhaps ? which will not appear on your eBay account summary --- can be found here >
Using a PC/Laptop, --- see if you can find the email Guest order Transaction number details using the Blue button in the link below --- Case options within 30 days from sale are there if needed >
