Missing order

I have just placed an order, or so I thought. I paid with PayPal in 3 & the 1st payment left my bank immediately. 
however… I have no sign of the order in my purchases, no email confirmation & the items are still showing in my basket.

im banging my head against a wall trying to speak to someone on eBay & PayPal state that the money will only be taken once the order is confirmed?  The money has gone from my bank

If there is nothing in your Purchase History,  sounds like you made the purchase, as a ' Guest Purchase'.
