Messages not being delivered to customer

Hi, recently I have been unable to send a message to some customers, not all, just a few, I get an error message saying  "Send message fail, please try again".

I have contacted ebay support and they say it is a glitch but this has been going on for nearly 3 weeks now.  I make custom items and I can not complete the order until they send me the specific info I need to make the item.  Also looks like their chat help is not working, been on twice this evening and saying 2 minute wait but it just sits there, now waiting on a phone call with a wait time of 22mins.

Anyone else with the same issue with messages not sending?

Yep,  you are not alone, we are told eBay are aware,  and working on this issue,  but no date for a fix reported yet!

Our Community Manager  kat@ebay  is dealing with this , and she will be able to add your account to the open ticket for the tech teams to deal with.  Let's hope this happens soon.

It is currently being worked on by tech. I will add you account to the open ticket. We don't have a timescale for this but once we have an update on it I will post back here.
