HI, Evri have lost a parcel that I sold. Evri have admitted they have lost it. I did a straight refund to the customer without them selecting 'parcel not arrived' through Ebay. The message from Evri says Ebay will get involved and sort it out. Howerver all I get from Ebay help is 'your buyer has not opened a case'. I have asked the buyer to mark as not arrived but becuase the refund has already been issued they do not have the option to do that. What can I do? I need compensation for my parcel, it was worth £50. Can I email Ebay direct rather than bots as these just say 'no case' when I enter the Item iD. Help! Thanks.

Never refund outside a case the buyer has to open for item not received.
If a case is still opened it's not eBay to contact but the buyer, they need to close that case.
Your battle now too, is with Evri to receive compensation for yourself, I understand the process is not easy ! 🤔

If you bought the postage through ebay, you have to claim through Packlink.

Yes purchsed postage through Ebay. Have you go a link to go through to claim from Packlink? Thank you

Yes, lesson learned! It is the first time I have had a lost parcel. No case is open. Thanks for your reply. I think I will go to Packlink and see if I have any joy!

Sorry, no. I do know they are very difficult to deal with though!

Ok I will try though Packlink. I know I didn't follow the correct procedure and just refunded which was my mistake, but I still thought Ebay would help to get my compensation.
