Listings Showing on Ebay UK and Ebay.com

I've just realised that all my listings are now showing on both ebay sites, as a buyer accepted an offer but couldn't pay because it was through ebay.com. I fixed it but wonder why this is happening as I do not and have never shipped overseas, only UK. I'm a private seller but over the festive period I changed from quick tool listings to business listings so I could show variations....is this the reason?? Any help appreciated.

Unless you exclude other countries, buyers can still buy, but not pay unless you send invoice with postage. 

Private sellers do not need variation listings, they are getting rid of unwanted, mostly used, items.

Only business sellers have variations.

Thanks for your reply but all listings are uk only. Maybe ebay should then not allow private sellers to change from quick listing tool which is possible but thanks for help

You have to go in to postage settings when listing to exclude other countries,

Just saying UK only still allows non UK buyers, but they can't pay unless you send invoice with postage.

It has been this way on ebay for years.

I don't understand because I've done all that and the buyer is in the UK. Saw something about setting site preferences to exclude ebay.com but cant find it unfortunately.
