I added web addresses for 2 reviews of an audiocable I am selling to help buyerseBay's AI system missinterpreted as an attempt to sell outside of eBay.
As there is no eBay contact info that I can find to appeal this decision I have been forced to remove the links.
Has anyone else had this problem and who can be contacted when there automated system gets it wrong?
Cheers
Howard

eBay have this policy in order to keep eBayers safe.
If you think about it, anyone can spoof an url and add it to their listing description. It could contain malware, or direct anyone clicking on it to a link to try and obtain personal or financial information.

Others have reported that adding links have caused issues with AI thinking you are doing off ebay deal.
Remove the link & all is OK.

With the more use of AI, it is only going to get worse.

eBay don't allow third party links to be added to listing descriptions, they're an obvious security risk.
