Listing Violation Help

I’ve been trying to sell a large comic collection and was offering both collection or shipping. But due to the size and weight i couldn’t specify the price of shipping as whatever option I picked the shipping was too expensive for the category.

so I asked the buyers to contact me to discuss shipping options ahead of purchasing and then purchase through eBay. This was in violation of the eBay selling policy for selling outside of eBay however I’ve explained and appealed and

removed the text from the description yet I it still hasn’t resolved the issue.
will this automatically be refreshed or do I need to relist as it’s been over a week.

thanks!

Listing Violation Help

It wholly depends on what the email informed you,  when your item was removed from sale.

Did it explain any time period to relist the item, has this lapsed?

You will need to weigh the collection and add a shipping cost.  If it is truly too expensive because of the weight this may put off potential buyers,  it would reduce your scope of buyers but may result in a more successful sale if it was listed as only a collection item.

Or,  you can add some of the postal cost to the starting price,  and the remainder as a shipping cost,  it will not then look  so bad ' on paper' but you will still receive the same money.
