I sold an item on the 26th Feb this year which was delivered on the 5th March, the buyer has now messaged nearly a month later to say there is a chip in the item.
Wen I listed the item I posted video and multiple photos, wrapped the item in bubble wrap and for the life of me cannot understand how a chip could have either been there or happened in transit.
Does anyone have any advice as I am not sure what I am expected to do?
Kind regards

Probably just dropped it!
Has it been more than 30 days since delivery?
If so, your buyer is out of time to open an eBay item not as described return. If they are out of time, I'd just politely let them know that you're unable to help as they've had the item for over a month, during which time anything could have happened.
