Klarna

Hi, I have a buyer who is only able to use Klarna to pay for an item I am selling. He says it does not appear as an option for him when trying to pay for the item. I have no idea what Klarna is (I don't have an account and don't really want to open one just to receive one payment). Is there a way if me being able to add it to my listing as a payment option? Could someone tell me how please? Thank you! Jenny

Klarna

It's one of those credit pay in 3 parts things, and not something that you can add to your listing.

Klarna is added to some listings and not to others, only Klarna know the reason for that. It's absolutely nothing to do with sellers.

Klarna only seems to be offered on higher value items.

As buyers pay ebay, sellers never know how buyer funds purchase.

Seller still gets full payment.

You're forgetting that buyers now pay eBay, not you as the seller. eBay then pays you money into the account you have registered with them. Less any fees payable, and of course the buyer's protecton fee.

The payment options that eBay provides are shown on every listing. If Klarna is included as an option on your listing, they can pay by Klarna. if it doesn't, they can't.

The seller has no say in what methods of pyment eBay accepts.
