Just switched from Private to a Business seller, and lost all my listings due to not actioning the jump quickly enough. Trying to understand the listing fee ...
Pretty much all of my sales are Good til cancelled, with the ability to order whatever qty you like (if in stock).
So, if I DO NOT HAVE A SHOP SUBSCRIPTION, I know I pay a listing fee for each item, but is this a one time fee irrespective of how long the listing runs, or how many time the item sells ...
Or, is the fee charged again maybe monthly, or when the ad auto renews ?
And is it charged each time an item sells ?
Secondly, If i HAVE A SHOP, then assume I don't go over the free listings, what happens if you cancel the subscription ? Are you suddenly charged for all your listings as if they they are "new" ?
All of the ebay help screens don't seem to explain the detail.

Listing fee is once a month, every time the listing auto renews. If you have multi-quantity then it's still only one listing fee, you pay the final value fee on each listing.
If you cancel a shop subscription then you still pay for the current month (it's billed at the start of each month). Then your shop subscription would end at the end of the month, your listings stay active, and you pay a listing fee when they auto renew.

Thanks for that - clears things up a bit. As I normally close the shop for 6 months each year, can you confirm if I set the stock to zero for each item, and cancel the shop subscription, ebay will charge (at the beginning) then credit (at the end) of each month, each listing ?
