I recently brought a tablet and paid for a money back guarantee when I put it on charge I left it over night the following morning it was still no charged and would not work so I asked for my money back I got an email from eBay saying not to send it back untill the seller sent a return label and I don't own a printer so could not even if I wanted to so the seller has suprise. suprise not sent a label waited told ebay I've not sent it back and they have closed the case so I've paid £50 for somebodys defective tablet and eBay have helped them mug me and the money back guarantee your not getting it because you didn't send it back how do you send sotmhing back when you don't have a return address and I got an email from the seller thanking me for my purchase and have a nice night it's a shame Ebay don't do something about the rough sellers it about time they did because they tarnish it for the genuine sellers out there and that I've purchased from eBay assured me I would not lose my money that was a lie and unfortunately I'm going to have to think long and hard to whether I'm going to continue shopping on eBay yes Amazon are more expensive but I've not lost any money so far

You have to escalate case 4 - 30 days from opening if no label received.
If you don't, case will time in sellers favour.
You don't need printer, you take QR code to PO, they can print label.

FYI. This is an ebay memeber forum, not customer service.
Although ebay say you don't have to do anything, YOU do have to ask ebay to step in within 30 days, it is not automatic.
If you don't do anything after opening case, they assume you sorted it with seller.
Contact your card provider, bank, credit card, paypal etc however you paid & see if they can help.
Also read up on MBG.
If unsure about anything, someone here will help.

There is a returns process - after opening a not as described return the seller has 3 business days to issue you with a returns label. If they don't, then after 3 business days an option to ask eBay to step in appears. You must then use this option to get a returns label from eBay.
If you just leave the returns case it will simply time out and close from being inactive.
If you don't have a printer there'll be a QR code with the label that you can show the Post Office on your device (phone, tablet) and they can print the label for you.
Here's eBay's guidance page on how the returns process works for buyers:
It's now too late to do anything via eBay, but if you paid with a debit or credit card you may be covered by them.

As i.told eBay when I contacted them I bedbound so cannot go to the post office I asked the seller for a label and got 13 emails all at the same time from him asking me for a label which I pointed out i was not in a position to do so he's let the time run out and emailed me thanks for you purchase have a nice evening and its not the first time this has happened and I contacted eBay because he says he does not except returns as it stands I've paid 50 pounds for his broken tablet and he's laughing all the way to the bank
eBay do require buyers to return items, they cannot keep them and get a refund.
The only workaround there would have been for you ask eBay to step in and to purchase a label yourself (Royal Mail and some couriers will come and collect from you and bring a label too), add that tracking number the returns case and then the seller would have had to refund.
