Items remain available for sale after sold.

I am selling an item and it appears in sold but also remains available for sale. I have been experimenting with a cross lister.

This is a rather unnerving glitch,  I too have come across in the past.

If you go to the item still for sale,  you will see there is no ' Buy it Now' illuminated , so the item cannot be sold twice.

It will shortly disappear from sale.

I did not look that closely and see no buy it now. That is a relief. It is unnerving I don't want to be selling things twice. I thought I had made everything a mess trying to use a crosslister. As I had also got a large number of cancelled not delivered orders. Which I could not work out why!!

Remember another thing too,  if an offer you send is accepted,  that item will also remain,  this time really for sale, until the offer recipient actually pays.  If they are late in paying someone can jump in and still buy the item and pay then it is sold !
