You will have to make a claim against the carrier.

It is up to you to refund the buyer, then go to DHL for a refund.

(Unless you used Ebay Simple Delivery.)

Has money actually been removed from your account?

When buyer opens ebay case, they put a hold on the funds until case is sorted.

If ebay or you refund buyer,then money is released.
